Abstract: Atravesamos un tiempo de rupturas y cambios que nos enfrenta al desafío de tener que elaborar nuevas categorías para pensar un mundo que ha devenido irremediablemente otro. Dentro de este horizonte teórico es necesario volver a reflexionar acerca de la subjetividad en relación a la política, y por lo tanto a la ética. Nos proponemos realizar una genealogía y a la vez deconstrucción de la categoría moderna de sujeto, poniendo de manifiesto el eclipse de la misma dentro del pensamiento filosófico de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, ya anticipado por los pensadores de la sospecha. No se trata de la celebración de la disolución del sujeto ni de su retorno, sino de reencontrar una subjetividad que se reconozca allí donde se hace visible la intemperie (ante el desafío de tener que aprender a convivir con la contingencia y la ambigüedad) y permita la reformulación de un proyecto emancipatorio frente al fracaso de la globalización neoliberal para construir una sociedad justa y solidaria.

Abstract: La razón occidental, en la Modernidad, instituyó modos de pensar, sentir y hacer fundados en ideas de progreso lineal e ilimitado y en la ciencia como conocimiento legítimo, con base en el Estado burgués, esperando garantizar bienestar y libertad. Luego, los genocidios y los totalitarismos demostraron que la fe en ciertas certezas y determinismos sólo conducía a la imposibilidad de convivencia y a la falta de un reconocimiento recíproco. Por ello, en los tiempos contemporáneos sólo queda apostar a una política sin fundamento en la trascendencia, donde la alteridad conmueva lo que pretenda estabilizarse, y el acontecimiento azaroso configure las modalidades de construcción y proyección de un porvenir. La perspectiva intercultural, desde una prudencia marcada por los errores de una confianza ciega en un modelo único, puede contribuir a pensar las múltiples vías de reconstrucción de un mundo más habitable, en un escenario de enorme desarrollo de las tecnologías.

Abstract: these times of breakups and changes challenge us to elaborate new categories in order to think a world which has become irremediably another one. within this theoretical horizon, giving a new thought to subjectivity in relation to politics and therefore ethics becomes necessary. we intend to carry out a genealogy and, at the same time, a deconstruction of the modern category of subject, making evident the eclipse inside the philosophical thinking of the second half of the xx century, as already anticipated by the "thinkers of suspicion". it is not about neither celebrating subject dissolution nor its return but rather about finding again a subjectivity able to recognize itself where an unsheltered space becomes visible, confronting the challenge of learning to coexist with contingency and ambiguity and thus allowing us to reformulate one emancipated project confronting the failure of the neoliberal globalization, to build a more fair and generous society.

Abstract: objective: to study the information given to the patient or their family, the information requested by the patient and his/her participation in the decisions made in the emergency service of primary care. design: descriptive observational study based on direct observations in clinics and subsequent telephone interview. setting: primary care emergency service. participants: users of the emergency services in several primary care centres in the toledo province. main measurements: personal details, accompanied or not, attitude or degree of concern, information provided by the doctor and/or requested by the patient, evaluation of the patients' participation in decision making. results: the doctor provided some information in 100% of cases; most frequently about treatment (83.4%) and diagnosis (80.1%); and least often about prognosis (23.8%) and complications (25.2%). a total of 25.2% of patients did not request any information. of these, afterwards 17.6% considered that they had received too little information. only 27.2% were invited by the doctor to take part in making decisions; while only 23.8% directly requested some treatment or referral to the hospital. the treatment received was considered suitable by 95% of patients. the patients？ degree of concern decreased from 6.1 (on arrival) to 3.4 (on discharge) [scale 1-10]. conclusions: it appears that sufficient information is provided in the emergency department and that the healthcare provided is also satisfactory. patients still participate very little in decision making.

Abstract: South-central Chile has some potential mineral resources including radioactive and rare earth elements (REE) minerals. This study reports some basic characteristics of the mineralogy of a radioactive-rare earth elements occurrence, related to a pegmatitic outcrop “Vertientes Pegmatite” hosted on Paleozoic granitic rocks of the South Coastal Batholith and discusses potential areas for REE deposits, particularly beach placers along the coastline of the BioBío region. In this pegmatite, X-ray diffraction analysis shows uranium-bearing minerals such as coffinite and metaschoepite, along with microcline, anorthoclase, albite, quartz and illite. Through optical microscopy and electron probe micro-analyzer (EPMA), rare earth minerals (monazite and xenotime) and radioactive minerals (thorite and thorium silicate ± uranium) were identified. Additionally, granitic rocks of the South Coastal Batholith around this pegmatite show rare earth minerals (monazite and allanite).

Abstract: El siguiente trabajo analiza las posibilidades que el cine ofrece para la ense aza de la historia en relación a las identidades de género, en cuanto el texto fílmico permite visibilizar y desnaturalizar el modo en que se han ido construyendo esas representaciones sobre lo masculino y lo femenino. Al mismo tiempo, el material fílmico posibilita recuperar las imágenes de mujer tanto aceptadas como rechazadas, que circulan en los discursos sociales de los diversos contextos socio históricos. Abstract: objective: to report a rare case of a giant epidermoid cyst in an intertesticular localization, analyzing its histological and pathologic features, and to perform a bibliographic review. methods/results: we report the case of a 49-year-old male consulting for a slowly growing intra-scrotal mass of five years of evolution causing discomfort because of its size. after excision the pathology report showed the presence of a keratoid epidermoid cyst very big in size. conclusions: superficial scrotal epidermoid cysts are frequent in clinical practice; that is not the case of the so-called "intra scrotal inclusion cysts". epidermoid cysts are firm, mobile, slowly growing, generally asymptomatic intra epidermal neoformations. there are descriptions in multiple sites, even the genitalia, nevertheless their size in this location does not usually pass 5 cm.
